Zero to Hero!!

We often discuss the benefits of following a healthier lifestyle, improved eating habits and behaviours, and also looking at increasing activity levels. When motivation is high, it’s really easy to adhere to it for a few weeks, but all to often life gets in the way and the momentum starts to slide, and sadly so do the results!

Thoughts then turn to…. Maybe I wasn’t born to be healthier, slimmer, lighter, I am what I am. My partner loves me regardless of my weight, in fact, every reason under the sun to explain why you don’t NEED to do this! In fact the truth is, you don’t believe in yourself enough to continue and turn it around.

Every single one of us has the capacity to go from ZERO TO HERO, all it takes is belief, desire and commitment to change, something we may all find challenging long term, and that’s why our meetings at are crucial in maintaining the positivity, inspiration, ideas, and motivation. The going can get tough for each of us, we didn’t acquire unhealthy habits and behaviors overnight, as such, we won’t change them overnight either. Lower unrealistic expectations, be kinder to yourself when you falter and fall, but above all, remember when you’re at the bottom the only way is up, and we can ALL go from ZERO to HERO!!

  1. Feel like a hero this week , I’m sure I’ve drank the equivalent of Ashby Lido in water this week and really am trying to cut the carbs down .. after a year of faffing think ive definitely become focused 💪
