The Countdown!!!!

Well, here we are again, the countdown begins towards Christmas and the final days of 2023!!

Has this year delivered all your hopes and dream? Have you made significant changes to your behaviours, habits and choices??

Regardless of how this year ends, another opportunity is fast on it’s heels, a chance to realise all your potential, to become the person you’ve dreamed of being, the happier, healthier and lighter you awaits!!!

Don’t waste the last few weeks of this year by giving up. How much better will you feel to be able to go into the party season feeling more confident and in control. The best way to make that happen is to continue attending EVERY weekly meeting!!!

We all know that the run-up to Christmas is usually frantic, manic and chaotic and often you are the one caught up in the maelstrom. Which can mean your priorities shift and your needs may slip through the net. This is one of the most important times of the year to put yourself as a top priority, when food and drink are plentiful, and you may find previously supportive friends now become coercive! Trying to lead you astray and undermine all your good intentions. It often starts with …… Why not it’s Christmas or Don’t be boring!!

Coming along throughout the festive run-up can give you the tools, tips and strategies to stay in control and approach the Big Day feeling like a Christmas Cracker and not a Christmas Pudding!!! 7 Weeks to Glow

  1. Loads of stuff coming up in November and December but going to try really hard to focus and remember that it’s only 1 or 2 bad meals in a week so I don’t wreck the rest of it 🤶🏻

  2. Coming to the meetings will keep me focused as Jackie and the team give great advice and guidance about what to do as the party season begins.

  3. Luckily I don’t have anything coming up, up to the run to Christmas. I’m going to keep myself busy and focused to make sure I don’t stray the wrong way 😊

  4. Have to Google maelstrom. I’m so stuupid lol. Definitely keeping coming ensures we don’t just throw away the last few weeks before Christmas. Staying for meetings gives us every opportunity to get inspired by Jackie and the fellow members.I am very cross with myself for wasting another year hovering around the same weight or going up and down. But I’ll never give up trying 💯

  5. I love the build up to Christmas and really enjoy coming to the meetings especially at this time of year. Although my weight hasn’t move for a few weeks I feel more in control and the meetings help keep the focus / control.

  6. Trying to stay focused at the moment is hard I will still keep coming and staying good or bad. Keeping busy and even though it’s not spring I am doing a clean and declutter to keep myself occupied . I will never give up trying no matter what curve ball life throws at me and I will get there .

  7. Attending the meetings is definitely the way to keep me focused. As I’m not at work now I won’t have as much temptation, and my Xmas food shopping is under my control. My thoughts are to buy my Xmas treats very wisely, quality not quantity and that includes the alcohol as well as chocolate 🥂🍫🤗

  8. Attending the meetings helps, the little nuggets of information that somehow pop into your head when you are planning what to eat or drink are invaluable.

  9. After losing my mojo, this week I’ve gone back to basics and been as focused as possible. Lots of none scale wins this week, so hoping for a win on the scales this week too, think I’ve found my mojo 😂🎄

  10. I have a few nights out planned, I will be trying to stay focused inbetween these and not buying any Christmas chocolate until last minute.

  11. I had a full turkey dinner this week – fully counted on the nutracheck app, still managed to lose 1lb. Staying focused till Christmas and concentrating on Christmas activity – not inactivity!!

  12. Get bonfire night out the way. Then it’s all about Xmas and holiday so I’ve really got to go for it. Stay to meetings writing a food journal early nights. Plenty of water walking when I can. I’m putting me first not xmas.
