Pyramid of Success….

It can be really useful to see exactly what a pyramid of success consists of and the various steps each of us needs to engage with in order to achieve the very best results possible. So let’s look at them in order of priority.

  • Sustainable Lifestyle – If you can’t make it a habit that lasts forever, the results won’t last forever either. Learn techniques and strategies that you can live with, that’s why small, permanent changes are the most important changes to make. Being drastic will give you short – term results, followed by un-sustainability and weight gain.
  • Mindset – Our forte!! If you don’t believe you can, or want to change badly enough. If you think it’s going to be tough, it will be. If you approach this as the most exciting journey that will enhance your life, it’ll be easy. Our meetings focus so much on mindset, as we do believe it is a huge part of being successful.
  • Quality Nutrition – I’m sure we all instantly think 5 a day, fruit and vegetables, and of course they are part of quality nutrition as well as providing essential vitamins and minerals, but there are plenty more food groups we need to eat regularly. Lean proteins, Dairy (milk, yoghurt, cheese etc) Fats (being mindful of the portions!) Carbohydrates (wholegrain if possible) and finally Water (we are made up of approximately 55% of it and it is vital for a healthy body).
  • Sleep – Rest/Recover the average adult need 7 – 9 hours of quality sleep each day. If it’s something you are finding difficult, why not have a read of these great tips Sleep
  • Activity – What are the benefits of increasing your physical activity? It can improve your brain health, manage your weight, reduce the risks of many chronic diseases, strengthen bones and muscles, boost bone density, support a healthy immune system, fight inflammation, improve strength and balance lower blood pressure and improve heart health, reduce feelings of anxiety and depression. Improve your quality of sleep to improve your mental health and well-being, the endorphins released will boost your self-esteem and confidence.

There you have it….. The pyramid to success, but actually it’s so much more! This really is the formula that works to help you become the you you’ve always wanted to be, and it’s in 5 simple steps….

If you can imagine it, you can achieve it. If you can dream it, you can become it.

  1. I’m good at all these apart from mind set which is where I struggle the most. Sleeping is my favourite 😁. I find that activity really helps my mental health as well as weight loss.
