As soon as Halloween is over, hot on it’s heels is Bonfire night! No matter if you love it or hate it, it can evoke powerful memories of time gone by. The penny for the guy, the assembling of the bonfire, the excitement of waiting for it to arrive! (Of course for many of us, Halloween was not an event!) Knowing that in a few short weeks Santa would be arriving!!

It could also be considered that in this manic run-up towards the festive period, all the parties and meals out, alcohol etc…..

What’s the point!!!

It’s inevitable that you will gain weight!!

Make no mistake, you 100% will if you forget WHY you are a member!

Anything worth having is worth fighting for. You may have been on this journey most of your life, or just begun. Either way it needs to be a long term commitment. It will take patience, perseverance and planning. Balance the meals throughout your day, make plenty of healthier choices and don’t forget to drink plenty of water. Don’t skip meals!!

The most important thing to remember is that better health isn’t seasonal!!! You can never be too healthy! It is one of the very best reasons to embark on this journey, and although there will be challenges and setbacks, the overall reason you took that first step should still matter. Damage limitation is a great strategy, always try to do your best, look at the positive changes you’ve already seen and loved. It IS in your hands…..
