
This is the third month of the year and definitively heralds the start of Spring and the end of Winter. The nights are starting to draw out and on the 29th March, the clocks go forward!!!



Thoughts will be turning to the Summer and holidays could possibly be already booked and counting down. Work in the garden could also be underway as well as the spring cleaning inside the home!
It’s also time to look at some general tips that could help to make a difference to your mindset and focus……

Challenge negative self talk – you may be wondering what that might look like? When you find yourself giving up on a lighter future as you’ve not achieved it so far… Why not now – it’s never too late to fulfill a dream. If you challenge that thought you’re half way there!! If you don’t believe you can – you probably won’t!

Take responsibility for your health – everyone knows what healthy eating looks like. But if you don’t and have a weight problem it’s probably the opposite of the foods you’re choosing now! It’s at least 5 portions of fruit and vegetables a day. It’s drinking water, it’s being more active, it’s reducing high fat and high sugar foods and minimise snacking. All too often the expectation is that the doctor will give you something to help, try helping yourself first! There are loads of posts on here with many great tips and advice.

Surround yourself with positive people – remember the old saying “Smile and the world smiles with you. Weep and you weep alone” Everyone needs positivity in their lives, whether it’s family, friends or colleagues. Look to adding these influencers to your life. It’s back to the doubting Thomas’s if everyone around you doesn’t think you can – you probably won’t. Unless you turn around and show them!! Luckily that works for me!!
One swallow does not make a summer, but one skein of geese, cleaving the murk of March thaw, is the Spring.
