Will do List

For many, the New Year may see you embarking on a whole range of Resolutions of things that will make your life sooo much better!!! You are full of hope, expectations and optimism!!!

It’s a whole 52 weeks of blank pages for you to write your future success and happiness in!

Sadly, all too often those resolutions slip away, too challenging, not realistic or practical, and to be honest, many are not prepared to put in the commitment that’s needed, and after a few weeks we give up. But one week drifts into another and suddenly it’s spring/summer and you’re further away than you were in January. Your confidence and self-esteem ebb away, and it’ll soon be holiday time!!!

A resolution alone without a plan is just a wish! You can wish for it or you can work for it! So what’s it going to be?

It will take time for the magic to happen, and that will only work if you keep focused and keep doing the things that work!

What we all really need is a WILL DO LIST. not necessarily what we’ll GIVE UP as that is a negative, more the benefits of what we WANT to Gain!

Think about exactly WHAT you plan to do to achieve it, remember you will need to be practical, realistic and committed.

Now put it on your WILL DO LIST. Make it BIG and put it where it WILL constantly remind you. This list may change as you master new habits and learn new strategies, and the best place to learn them is in our meetings.

Hopefully you are already a member in meetings, (and if not, are planning to be with our great free registration offer) and you will have made some great choices over Christmas and the New Year and planned wisely to ensure you are not left with surplus goodies that you are tempted by, you won’t have over-indulged, and you are already focusing on a healthy week by having planned and prepared your meals, specifically getting plenty of fruit and vegetables, staying hydrated, making your meals interesting and varied and making healthy swaps where possible. Planning some activity every day, and of course heading back to your 1st meeting of 2023!!

It isn’t only a New Year. It is a chance for everyone to restart.

  1. Happy New Everyone. Wise words Jackie. Fridge full of healthy stuff, and back on damp January! Chicken casserole to go in the oven for this evening. See you tomorrow xx

Love this to keep me going. I’ve made sure that my fridge is full of good healthy foods and all the bad is out the way. Looking forward to the meeting tomorrow 🥰
