Being in the zone is often how you say you are motivated. This feeling is when it’s important to you to lose weight and you feel confident that you can lose weight, and you ARE losing weight! We all know what to do to lose weight, but unless you are in the zone/motivated, you are not going to do everything it takes to lose weight – it’s not just about knowing but wanting to do it.

When you are motivated and put the time into doing all you can, you lose weight – you are on a roll, you’re in the zone, and it feels soooo good!!
Sadly knowing you need to lose weight itself is not enough; you have to want to lose weight, to keep going, to make those behaviour changes, practice the good habits you’ve learned, replacing the old unhealthy ones, continue the commitment to keep coming and staying to your
meetings.
An average person makes around 200 decisions a day based around food. If you’re in the zone or on a roll imagine how that will influence any decisions you make around food. Imagine the feelings that are associated with good decisions and how that in turn will impact your weight loss.
If I asked you all why did you come to
you would all say because I’m fat. But that isn’t the real reason, it isn’t what made you walk through the door it’s the things you decided you didn’t want anymore and the things you did want to achieve.
Many of our members came to us because they trust our ability to guide, motivate, support and inspire them without the restriction of following a set plan. Most of us knows exactly why we have a weight problem and can pinpoint the exact reasons why we eat!

Take a moment to consider exactly what it is you don’t want anymore, now do the same with what things you do want to have!
One of the reasons why the meetings are so important is that sometimes you do doubt your ability to do well, so listening to somebody who is in the zone can refocus and re motivate you. Hearing that they too have overcome obstacles that you may find challenging. Hearing and seeing others successes can really impact the choices we make over the coming days and weeks.
Having confidence in
is the first step but it does not mean though that you have the confidence as an individual to lose weight, that confidence comes from hearing others talk about their success which will then inspire you to go on to succeed. As you lose weight imagine that feeling when someone says to you that you look fantastic! You can’t wait to share how you achieved your success, and you will be bursting with pride and confidence!l That also affects the importance of your food decisions and choices. Happier people do tend to make healthier choices!
This is also about regaining your focus looking for another reason/aim to break this journey down even further or maybe just refocusing on your original reasons of why you wanted to lose weight. This is about thinking “you know what if I got my finger out by the time I go on holiday I could be XXlbs lighter and as much as I feel good about what I’ve already lost how much better will I feel then”
If you can change your mind, you can change your life.

I have to admit I’ve struggled this week. Just wanted to eat everything in sight, which has made me feel like crap. Had a rethink about everything and decided if it’s out of sight it’s out of mind. Making better healthier decisions for myself. Loved reading this and makes you feel much better you have so much support everywhere 😊

staying in the zone is the difficult part! I have felt myself slipping recently and this post is just what I need to keep me on track over the holiday season.

After the meeting today it really made me think. Jackie spoke about when our week starts I realised bread had creeped into my Wednesday after being weighed and other bad choices. So today when I got back I did a lovely salad bowl with cheese and eggs. It really dose pay to stay to meetings 😊
