
One of the top comments we get from members in our meetings is how much they enjoy our balanced approach. If you feel you’ve overloaded on a day, looking at how you can try to balance it by being a little more basic the next few days. After all, the majority of our week is routine, and creating a healthy balance will set you up for the days (Tends to be week-ends) that you may feel less in control and not make the best choices.
Rather than throwing in the towel which probably in the past we’ve always done, our members are finding the strategy of Give and Take is working far better. This technique is proving extremely successful, not just for losing weight, but also maintaining!
When you consider in every other area of our life we DO give and take, it’s a much more realistic approach.
When looking at the skills Achieving a Weight Loss for life…. Not just for Summer!! required for long term lifestyle changes, being more balanced rather than All or Nothing? which has never worked in the past.

One of the most important things to keep in mind is balance – everyone wobbles, but by focusing can regain it, remember learning to ride a bike without stabilisers!!! How many times did we fall! But it mattered enough to keep trying! Life is all about balance – work/life, better choices/unwise ones, saving money/being a spendthrift. Balance in all areas helps a positive mindset!

we are truly proud of our approach, that no foods are off the menu, but as the title suggests, be mindful of Give and Take!!! There are plenty of opportunities to balance your eating over the week, use them wisely!!
Balance is not something you find, it’s something you create.
