Be-Leaf!!!!

While watching Michael McIntyre’s big night on television, celebrity Katherine Ryan played a phone game called ‘send to all’ One of her contacts was her therapist and the name was ‘Be-leaf’. As when you DO be-leaf, anything and everything is possible!!!

Is it time for you to turn over a new leaf? Are you happy with the progress you are making on your mission to discover the happier, healthier and lighter you? Or have old habits and behaviours crept back in????

Here are just a few ‘LEAF’ ideas to get you back into focus!!!

Deciding what you want to achieve and taking back the control that will enable you to achieve them is a great step forward, BUT just deciding what you want won’t get you there! You need to take some action and planning, preparation and perseverance WILL!!

What are your portions like? Have you noticed that the foods you like the most have grown in size!! Are they the higher fats/calories/carbohydrates? Is it time to check those portions? Could it be they are hindering your progress? Are your meals well balanced? Are you changing your meals in line with the season? Sticking to the same meals all year round will create boredom, which also leads to increased snacking!! Snack Attack!!!

Activity is one of the most positive stress busters available, and no it isn’t always joining a gym, wrap up warm and go for a walk!! What better way to enjoy all of nature’s colours. It’s free, releases the feel good endorphins, great for your positive mental health and doesn’t involve food!

Time to turn over that new leaf, remember the leaves fall to make way for spring’s new leaves!!
