It’s a new dawn, a new day…..

And I’m feeling good!!!!

Every single dawn presents the chance, the promise, the opportunity to leave yesterday in the past and make this new day amazing!! Just because you haven’t seen it this way before, doesn’t mean you can’t now!

So what does “amazing” feel like? Is it achieving your perfect weight? Wearing that ‘perfect’ outfit? Sleeping all night blissfully and feeling refreshed and ready for this ‘New day’?

Or is it deciding that this day you are taking control of your eating?

Everyone of these changes may appear really simple and 100% achievable, and they are, but not just for a day, a week , a month or two, this needs to be most days, most weeks, every month and every year. The ‘feeling good’ comes from what you repeatedly do, and the more you do it the easier it becomes. It then becomes routine, which is exactly how ALL behaviours that are learnt and when acted on regularly become new healthy habits.

All too often, life is allowed to get in the way of your ambitions, and sadly they become left behind leaving you disillusioned, despondent and downhearted. The reality is all of those changes can be re-implemented and put back into place. None of us got to where we are regarding our weight overnight, and it won’t reverse overnight either, but if you persevere and persist you will have your ‘New Dawn’ and you will ‘Feel Good’

  1. I am pleased at how my damp January has gone. A lot drier than last year’s😀😀. And stuck to the two days where we had some celebrations. Now that February is looming, working out how to move forwards in a sustainable way so that I still enjoy a glass or two of wine. Nosecco has certainly been a good pal this month and will continue to feature as a good alternative.

  2. My commitment for this year has been to change my exercise routine and become stronger, using weights in the gym, and so far I am sticking to my routine. I’m really proud of myself as I really did not like doing weights, but I’m becoming more confident and I’m hoping this will help me in my weight loss journey x
