This is something we mentors hear all the time, I’ll know when the time is right, unfortunately while waiting for ‘that perfect moment’ you are eating anything and everything you can, which means you are moving further away from where you want to be, weighing more and moving less. That’s down to the fact you know when the time is right you won’t be having any of them!

Is that in itself a good enough reason to continue to delay your start, Is that due to your past experiences of trying to lose weight by following a ‘diet plan’?

What if the secret to losing weight and becoming a happier, healthier person lay inside you? That to realise your full potential all you needed was extra support, inspiration, new behaviours and strategies to replace the ones that have brought you to this place where you have had enough of feeling a failure and guilty!

You are reading this either as a member, or someone who wants to make changes to their lifestyles. Imagine how empowering and uplifting it is to be free to make your own choices! Let’s be honest if you were asked to make a list now of the foods you know you eat to excess, you have that knowledge! What you may not have is the continued support and motivation to see it through. Every journey has challenges and accepting that is half the battle – remembering WHY you want to make those changes is a huge section too.

Waiting for ‘The Right Time’ only delays the inevitable, and as we said waiting doesn’t mean we stay where we are, it’s usually moving further away from what you most want.

There is never enough time to do everything. But there is always enough time to do the most important thing.

  1. So very true!!. I’ve been a member of some sort of ‘weight loss’ group for 15+ years as well as trying to follow at home plans years before that. It is only since joining Jackie at Ashby that I’ve finally come away from the *all or nothing* approach, Now if I have a bad meal / bad day with food choices, I feel in control to take back the power and draw a line straight away. Previously I would have been that person who thought well I may as well eat what i want now until next weigh in to wait to draw that line. It is all about mindset and making choices and only YOU can make your own choices. Love this post ladies thank you 🙂

  2. It’s true. There is always something coming up that might make you think about putting off starting but when you get to the time you’ve put it off to there’ll be something else so it’s best to start now.

  3. I’ve been a member since Success Lies In Mind started last year, but have been on a weight loss journey since 2014. I have been stuck in ruts and my weight loss has gone up and down for many years. Without the support of Jackie I wouldn’t be were i am now. I have finally found something that works for me and can now feel the benefit. Those days were I have felt “ Ill just jack this in and eat what I want” after a gain, I have completely changed my mindset for the better 😊
