Sometimes throughout the journey towards becoming happier, healthier and lighter, the future can seem little blurred, especially when you are feeling so much better than you did when you embarked on it. Old habits sneak in and progress is at a standstill. If you are serious about getting where you really want to be then it’s time to re-focus…..

  1. Start now by recommitting today – So what do you think that means? When somebody comes to us and wants to achieve their weight loss dream, they are totally invested in both themselves and also the meeting they have joined. They commit to it 100%. Nothing and no-one hinders their progress, no additional appointments are made for that day, no visitors arrive unexpectedly, any phone calls are cut short so that they can be at their meeting – it’s crucial and their number 1 priority, and guess what? They achieve SUCCESS!! But when you stop making yourself and a priority your success will definitely suffer!

  3. Plan each meal – One of the most common excuses for lack of success and focus is not taking time to plan what you WILL eat, instead of leaving it till the last minute and grabbing anything you fancy! Take time to plan your meals it will also help avoid snacking on high caloried foods!
  4. Eat – Sounds silly, but sometimes you are so desperate to make up for overeating that you stop eating wisely, which may leave you feeling absolutely starving, and then anything goes! Eat 3 meals a day – EVERYDAY!!
  5. Look back at a previous week where you used a food diary – One of the reasons we recommend writing it down is the simple fact that we really don’t remember exactly what we did each day. Your food diary is your blueprint for success, it’s also the totally personal plan everyone of us would like!!
  6. Move – We all move, but are you moving enough? Check exactly how much you are doing, then make it your mission to move more, in a lot of pain? Nobody is saying run a marathon – we can all do a few steps more!! Time to get your sweat on!!
  7. Remind yourself how far you’ve come – Always important to be happy with how much you’ve achieved! Time to focus forward – look where you’re going it’s forwards not backwards!!

  9. Don’t let a bad day turn into a bad week! – Often linked to the dieting mindset All or Nothing? Not doing well, so I’ll stay away from the meeting this week, next week is bound to be better!! Will it? Was it ever before? Nope!! Face it and draw the line.
