Hello 2024…

Here we are a brand New Year!! Full of opportunities and a chance for this year to be the year you achieve all your weight-loss aspirations and dreams.

The most important thing to remember is that for many of you, this is not a new start, it’s the continuation of your journey. If you had fallen by the wayside, you may be starting again, but actually you’re not starting from the start, you’re starting from a strong position, you have already learnt so much and it’s time to put it into practise. Resolutions…….

Knowing where your pitfalls are, and having the knowledge, tools and tactics to intervene BEFORE it happens, rather than dealing with the aftermath.

Being kinder to yourself when things don’t go to plan, and rather than writing it off, look at how you can recover, readjust the next few meals and days to incorporate the slip. Stop compounding the damage, just because it’s what you’ve always done in the past, doesn’t mean you can’t change the future. YOUR FUTURE!!

So let’s make 2024 the Year you achieve MORE!! It will take time, perseverance, determination and a ‘don’t know when to quit attitude’ However you WILL have the support, inspiration, motivation as well as the behavior changes, the tactics and strategies each week, both on here and in your weekly meetings.

A recent post The Countdown!!!! received more comments than many other posts, and every one said, the most important factor contributing to success was to keep coming every week to the meetings. So if you’ve not joined us yet – maybe that could be your New Years’ Resolution!!!

  1. I started to make a new start after Boxing Day but then the New Year weekend got in the way. I’ve got a week now to have another go before we go off to Lanzarote for the rest of the month but at least there we do a lot of walking every day and there are no temptations between meals!

  2. I’m so ready!! I’m tired of not achieving my goals because they aren’t realistic. This year I’m going to be kind to myself and believe in myself. I absolutely can be the person I want to be in 2024 and the rest of my life. 🥳🥳

  3. Happy New Year to everyone. I’m so ready to get back to my journey and start feeling better again. It’s not been a great Christmas this year with not being well so can’t wait to get back to my meetings 😊

  4. Happy new year. I too am ready to shed the autumn/winter pounds. Looking forward to spring. One of my resolutions is to make sure I read every blog this year, something I haven’t always been good at doing …sorry 😦
